More About Us
Dedicated to the Wellbeing of Body, Mind & Spirit
We’ve been a practicing Integrative Style Healing Team since 2018. The foundation of our Center combines the physical with the inner emotional and spiritual journey. By integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, we promote awareness of the interdependency of all these aspects in personal health and wellbeing. At Integrative Healing Retreat Center, we use our extensive training and in-depth understanding of the human body and psyche to teach and cultivate awareness of one’s own practice and life process.

Suzy started her healing path with massage school, learning about the amazing human body and
developing genuine care in touching people and making them feel completely at ease. She took
her journey deeper at the SomaVeda® College of Natural Medicine, which she can best describe
as a life-changing Zen Bootcamp Retreat. The Foundation of this program begins with
Traditional Thai Yoga Therapeutic Bodywork. This Holistic (or whole body focused) modality
combines deep stretching, rhythmic compression, gentle rocking, traction, joint decompression
and mobilization and acupressure to balance the energetic lines and chakras of the body.
Many of her clients over the years, say this work is like an “Eastern Physical Therapy.” She has
worked on the athletes as a part of the Sports Medicine Department at Fresno State for the past
4 years. Both athletes and homebodies alike find this work to be relaxing, while energizing and
they always leave being able to move more freely and with less pain. All of her sessions include
an assessment of the cause of whatever discomfort or preventative needs bring you to the
session and simple self care exercises to bring your body back into balance for your everyday
Suzy has an intense passion for teaching and inspiring people to reconnect with their bodies,
through bodywork as well as group and individual coaching. If you’re looking to become more
independent from medication for your chronic pains, she finds so much joy and has had a lot of
success in guiding people into these short and simple lifestyle changes. Those clients that are
most committed and consistent always receive the most benefit. Join us at our Center to
start your journey to genuine wellbeing.
